Yes, I was impressed by salaries - people at construction sites can earn up to $450 a day (mostly those, who deal with special vehicles). That's why so many foreigners come to work in South Korea.

thanks for nice video. however, the correction is needed here. firstly, the average salary is around $100-120 in basic works, and it may rise depends on the experience of the worker. secondly, they are just polite for people with white skin
Salary issues are quite debatable here in South Korea. The thing really depends on where you work. If you work at big firms like Samsung or Hyundai, your starting salary would be like over 50k per year. However, decent jobs are limited, and it is fair enough to say that college graduates receive around 35k yearly when they start working.
Anyway it is a great video!! Very interesting to view my country in eyes of non-Korean. I feel so happy you spent good times :)
Actually Koreans don’t really speak to anyone unless they know them; because if they don’t know you why do they have to talk to you. My girl is from Korea. This is what she said. But still, every person is different too 🤷🏻♂️
Hello Marina my name is Khalid I am from Saudi Arabia I watched some your videos and I think you are doing good to us I told my friends about you they want to watch your videos and learn from them ok I want to say you thank you for everything I have learned more things from you again thank you and bay
America is the best place to study - why south Koreans will kill to come the US for schoolings and living. South Korea is very confusing country that in my opinion has no back bones. They are focused on copying advanced world and the country has a long way to go. It's dirty and stinks from sewer holes every 5 feet no matter where you go. And, generally, people are depressed, rude and not kind not to mention retirement system is merely doesn't exist unless you work for the government such as teacher. And someone's comment here is correct. They are nicer to white skinned people.
Forgot in a restaurant in Seoul on the IPhone, after 2.5 hours at breakneck speed rushed at him and wow, he lies at the same table. The Koreans sitting at the table only smiled in surprise. In Germany, he would hardly have been touched. Maybe they have a Samsung, IPhones are not needed)
I've been in Korea for 1 year in 2002. There was the Korea-Japan Football World Championship in that year. Marvelous country! By the way I worked in a construction company. We built houses. And my salary was about 1500 USD. It wasn't too much even for those times, but I was pretty young and I was quite satisfied with it. I was there with my friends, we were young and we had some money. Only nice memories have been stayed with me about Korea.
thank you for her praise of Korea. but honestly, the korean salary she speaks is wrong. we do not earn so much. GDP per person of koreans is about $33,000. and the average annual salary of Koreans is similar to GDP per person. however, the salary of special vehicle drivers is a true. if you have your own vehicle like a fork crane, you can receive $400~$600 per day.
thanks for your video
I just wanted to metion about the salary part
the average annual dalary in Korea is a bit less than $30000
and the top 10% salary is $60000
I think there is some wrong information
It's been near by 5 years that im living in Korea, one thing what i can sure about Koreans that they're really racists. If you not looking like an American or someone who is from Europe you won't receive any help from them like Marina did. If you from India, Pakistan or somewhere from Central Asia their behavior will be totally different to you.
Hi Marina, maybe Asian's tradition came from China takes this custom to avoid the number 4, because in Chinese 4 is Sì 四 (whit accent) and dead 死 Sǐ. Even are not the same, occasionally sounds very similar so because in China a lot of people don't want to talk about number 4.
It’s dangerous to think them nice just because those you met were nice. Like other peoples, not all people are nice. It is not a “fact”.
In addition, the reason why they were nice to you was because you are white. If you were black or Japanese, you would be treated quite differently.
Community pharmacists are the health professionals most accessible to the public. They supply medicines in accordance with a prescription or, when legally permitted, sell them without a prescription. In addition to ensuring an accurate supply of appropriate products, their professional activities also cover counselling of patients at the time of dispensing of prescription and non-prescription drugs, drug information to health professionals, patients and the general public, and participation in health-promotion programmes. They maintain links with other health professionals in primary health care.
